Sloan took the mug from Kendra’s hand and put it in the sink. Bending his head, he stopped just short of kissing her. Her breath shuddered out and whispered across his lips. “Challenge,” he demanded.
This time her breath came out in a whoosh. “But…Kyle…”
“Tied one on last night and is upstairs dead to the world for at least a couple more hours. Challenge,” he demanded again.
A jerky nod was her only response. She loved and hated his challenges, because she always lost them.
“I bet I can make you scream without messing up this tidy little outfit of yours or getting a strand of your hair out of place.”
“And mine?”
“Your challenge, sweetheart” — he slipped his hands under her skirt and groaned when he encountered the smooth flesh of her behind — “is” — he slid his hands up to her waist, pushing the skirt up as he went — “to not” — he lifted her onto the counter, — “scream,” he finished.

Whew, it’s getting hot in here! Lisa, this was a great story. I absolutely adored it. You did it again!
Oh my my my…this book was something else…That Sloan is a dime a dozen – a man who loves his woman no matter what (even her insecurities). Kendra was quite believable and came across as someone I completely sympathized with. I will leave it at that…well, except for this – when is Mozell and Connor getting their story?

I really loved this book Ms. Riley! I haven’t read one as good as this since I read Roslyn Hardy Holcomb’s Santa Baby.
I wanted to cry for Kendra, while at the same time cheer for Sloan! God it was such a quandary. I felt for her, but I understood where he was coming from too. I loved their relationship, loved their friends and family, too. Heck I could even sympathize somewhat with Kendra’s mom.
Like the other reader, I’m curious about Mozell and Connor, but I’m dying to know more about Kyle. Please, please, please, please, please, PLEASE tell me that there’s a story for him.

I finished my copy this morning about 430am (lol) I was hooked. I kept telling myself just one more page…one more chapter but I would not be satisfied until I was finished. Great- nope excellent story your stories always have a realistic story line, mixed with mind blowing sex, and some drama and action. I loved them keep them coming
